Tina (Thieme) Brown — Artist & Naturalist
My art is a reflection of my passion for nature. I create drawings, paintings and prints in my log cabin studio or out in the field. This process of looking closely at nature, guides my search for natural history stories about that place.
Colors, lines, shapes and textures outside draw me into the studio to create art inspired by nature. Maybe a bud is opening, or the sky filters light differently on the mountain, or the birds and butterflies are drawing me into their cycle — this is the focus of my art.
